Born in 1962, he is the second son of Imaemon 13. In 1985, he graduated from the Department of Crafts, Interior and Industrial Design at Musashino Art University. In 1988, he studied under Suzuki Osamu. In 1990, he joined the family business under Imaemon 13. In 2002, he took on the name Imaemon 14. Imaizumi Imaemon 14 is developing modern Nabeshima pottery that is centered on the family's traditional "Iro Nabeshima" technique but also develops the technique of "sumihajiki."

This work makes use of the artist's signature technique of "ink splashing," and conveys the charm of the 14th Imaemon to the fullest.

This is a masterpiece that was exhibited at a solo exhibition and is listed as the first piece in the exhibition catalog.
