Kaiji Tsukamoto
Born in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture in 1912. In 1965, he won the Japan Crafts Association Chairman's Award at the 12th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition for his work (blue-and-white porcelain). In 1983, he was recognized as an Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure) for "white porcelain and blue-and-white porcelain." He passed away in 1987.
