Kato Hajime
Born in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture in 1900. In 1937, he exhibited at the Paris World Exposition and won the Grand Prix. In 1961, he was recognized as an Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure) for "colored porcelain." He passed away in 1968.
