Yaichi Kusube
Born in 1897. Died in 1984. Born in Kyoto. Entered the Municipal Ceramics Testing Center Training School at the age of 15. In 1920, participated in the formation of "Sekido" (red clay). Later, he was active in the Teiten and Nitten exhibitions. He produced rare colors by making full use of elegant techniques such as blue and white porcelain, celadon, jun kiln, and Ninsei-style porcelain. He was awarded the Order of Culture.
