Kura Suzuki
Born in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture in 1934. In 1962, his Shino vase won the Grand Prize at the Paraguay International Ceramic Exhibition. In 1994, he was recognized as an Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure) for Shino. He exhibited at the "Ultimate Ceramic Art: Eight Living National Treasures Exhibition" (published by The Asahi Shimbun Company).
