Kenkichi Tomimoto studied interior decorating at university, studied in England, and after returning to Japan, entered the ceramic art world through his friendship with Bernard Leach, and became popular for his works utilizing his talent as a designer. Kenkichi Tomimoto, who was also an excellent designer, left behind simple but elegant works with a somewhat innocent and elegant brilliance. This obidome was issued by Shiseido in 1940.
