This is a work by KAMIDE Kizan IV, a master craftsman of Kutani. Kiisan Kamiide IV inherited the “komon style” created by his father Kiisan Kamiide III, incorporated his own sense of style, and developed it into Kiisan Kamiide IV's works, which are more elaborate and use many colors. While division of labor is common in Kutaniyaki, the 4th generation honed his skills on the potter's wheel and created a satisfactory base before painting.
