Jinenbo Nakagawa (1953–2011) was a ceramic artist from Saga Prefecture who embarked on his path in pottery after graduating from high school by apprenticing under Toya Inoue. At the Nakagawa Jinenbo Kiln, he produced various styles of Karatsu ware, including Chosen-Karatsu, as well as Hakeme, Kohiki, Madara, Mishima, and Kuro-Karatsu.

Jinenbo’s Kohiki-Karatsu works exhibit a diverse range of expressions, from clean white surfaces to rustic appearances shaped by kiln effects during firing. Furthermore, as the pieces are used over time, they develop a unique aesthetic known as "amamori" (leaking rain), allowing owners to enjoy the charm of their aging process.
