Born in Osaka in 1964. Started sculpting Buddhist statues on his own, trained under a Buddhist sculptor at Hoen, and began donating Buddhist statues to temples and other places. His works were shown at solo exhibitions, mainly at department stores, and he continued to create contemporary works other than Buddhist statues while making use of his Buddhist sculpture techniques.
