1966: Full member of the Japan Crafts Association
1980 Completed construction of large kiln in Hyogo Prefecture
He then built a large 53m-tall climbing kiln in Ushimado, Okayama Prefecture.
1996: Recognized as an Important Cultural Property by Okayama Prefecture
2002: Winner of the Gold Award from the Japan Ceramic Association
