1897-1984 Doll artist from the Taisho to Showa era.
Born on August 25th, 1897.
He met Yumeji Takehisa and began making dolls.
In 1934, he founded the Kojutsu Society with Noguchi Mitsuhiko and Kagoshima Juzo, and launched a creative doll movement.
He exhibited his work at the Teiten and Nitten exhibitions, winning numerous awards, and was designated a Living National Treasure for his costume dolls for 30 years.
He passed away on December 9, 1984 at the age of 87.
Born in Tokyo. Her real name is Matsue Yamada. Her representative works include "Doro".
