This is a work by former Prime Minister Hosokawa Morihiro, whose master was Tsujimura Shiro. After his retirement, he mainly worked as a potter and tea master, and set up a studio and tea room called "Futouan" in the mansion of Miyagami, Yugawara-cho, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture, where his grandmother used to live. The tea room was designed by architectural historian Fujimori Terunobu. While working as a creative and writing artist, he has been holding "solo exhibitions" of tea utensils, calligraphy, paintings, etc. from 2001, mainly from spring to autumn. He also served as a personality on TBS Radio's "Hosokawa Morihiro: I Want to Meet This Person" from October 1999 to September 2002. As the head of the Hosokawa family, he serves as the chairman of the Eisei Bunko Public Interest Foundation. Hosokawa Morihiro's works are very popular. This work is a popular masterpiece, just like his other works. The powerful brushstrokes make this a masterpiece with a deep flavor.
