Height 9.8cm, diameter 14.0cm

Although there was a period of decline in the long history of the Kyusetsu, it was the 10th and current 11th Kyusetsu who revitalized Hagi ware again, and their greatest achievement is known to be the creation of a pure white Hagi ware called "Kyusetsu White". Both of them were later designated as Living National Treasures, which shows that they are the most popular of all the Kyusetsu potters.

The white produced by using Shirahagi glaze has a warmth that evokes the thawing of snow in spring, which is what the name "Kyusetsu" (break snow) implies, and is a representative style of the artist.

This piece is a masterpiece with a solid appearance, beautiful snow-white color, and soft kiln changes.
