Born in 1951 in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, as the third son of 11th generation Kyūsai (Jū-sai).
1975: Studied abroad in the United States.
1981: Returned to Japan and began creating at the Miwa Kiln.
2000: Exhibited at the Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum of Art in the "Miwa Kazuhiko’s Tea Room - REI-" exhibition.
2002: Participated in the "100 Years of Modern Ceramics" exhibition at the Gifu Prefectural Ceramic Museum.
2003: Participated in the "The Blooming of Modern Ceramics - Resonating Colors and Forms" exhibition at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum.
2007: Received the Japan Ceramic Society Award.
2019: Inherited the title of the 13th generation Miwa Kyūsai.
