In 1980, he was recommended as a full member of the Japan Crafts Association, and has since won numerous awards, including the Traditional Crafts New Works Exhibition Encouragement Award in 1988, the Tochigi Prefecture Cultural Encouragement Award, and the International Ceramic Art Excellence Award in the same year. This is an excellent work by Morimi Saeki, who has been popular for holding solo exhibitions at famous department stores and galleries such as Ginza Kuroda Touen, Ginza Wako, and Takashimaya Nihonbashi.

After being amazed by the tree shapes that stand out against the autumn scenery, he began to create fantastic works in which trees were carved into ceramics.
