1955: Became a disciple of Kawamura Tonzan
1961: Established Tachibana Kiln in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture
In 1968, he was selected for the first time at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition.
Around 1970: Devoted himself to celadon works and began researching them.
1987: "Celadon Vase" was exhibited at the Japanese Ceramic Art Exhibition and won the Minister of Education Award.
1989 Yokozuna Chiyonofuji is presented with a celadon vase as a commemorative gift when he receives the People's Honor Award.
1992: Stored at the Daiei Museum
