This is a work by the 13th generation Tarouemon Nakazato. The 13th generation Tarouemon Nakazato (1923-2009), later renamed Ou-an Nakazato, earned a Ph.D. from an art university and was known as a ceramics scholar. He researched ceramics from around the world, incorporating new techniques while building upon the traditional methods of Ko-Karatsu, thereby overturning the conventional understanding of Karatsu ware and pioneering new horizons.
