1945: Born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture.
1969: Graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Agriculture. Later, he entered the path of pottery under Sozan Kaneshige.
1979: Held a solo exhibition at Okayama Takashimaya. Afterward, he held solo exhibitions at various locations.
2011: Received the Sanyo Shimbun Award (Cultural Merit).
2019: Received the Okayama Prefecture Culture Award.

This is a well-made sake cup with clear "kumadori" markings.
