1955: Active primarily in the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition.

1959: Certified as a holder of Okayama Prefecture's Important Intangible Cultural Property.

1981: Presented the "Nagare Goma Maru Kabin" (Flowing Sesame Round Vase) to the Imperial Family.

1976: Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon.

1981: Awarded the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon.

1982: Awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Fourth Class.

1987: Certified as a Living National Treasure (Important Intangible Cultural Property designated by the state).

1994: Passed away at the age of 88.
