Jinenbo Nakagawa (1953-2011) was a ceramic artist from Saga Prefecture. After graduating from high school, he apprenticed under Toya Inoue and embarked on a career in pottery. At Jinenbo Nakagawa Kiln, he produced Karatsu ware in various styles, including Joseon Karatsu, Hakeme Karatsu, Kohiki Karatsu, Madara Karatsu, Mishima Karatsu, and Kuro Karatsu.

Jinenbo's Kohiki Karatsu works range from those with a clean white ground to those with a rustic appearance due to kiln effects (yohen) during firing. These pieces also offer the enjoyment of経年変化 (aging) as they develop a unique "amamori" (rain leak) pattern with continued use.
