Born in Seto City, Kato Hajimoe studied ceramic design, and later, with his deep knowledge and technique of Oriental ceramics, he created many masterpieces that were called the twin pillars of overglaze porcelain together with Tomimoto Kenkichi, and was recognized as a Living National Treasure for his work. This work, colored by the artist's unique sensibility and leaving behind a masterpiece of Kinrande, is more gorgeous in color than a simple painting, almost like a wash painting.
