1979: First time selected for the 26th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
1990: Excellence Award at the 13th Traditional Kutani Ware Crafts Exhibition
1991: Certified as a full member of the Japan Crafts Association
2001: Commissioned to exhibit at the 21st Century Creation from Tradition Exhibition (Tokyo Art Club, etc.) and has been exhibited every year since then.
2006: Withdrew from the Japan Crafts Association
2008: "Miyamoto Tadao and Masao Father and Son Exhibition" held at Nihonbashi Takashimaya
2011: Held the "Phantom Kutani: Miyamoto Tadao Ceramics Exhibition" at Nihonbashi Takashimaya
