Born in 1962. Second son of Imaemon 13. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Crafts, Art and Industrial Design in 1985. Studied under Suzuki Osamu in 1988. Began working in the family business after receiving the permission of Imaemon 13 in 1990. Succeeded to the name of Imaemon 14 in 2002. Imaizumi Imaemon 14 is developing modern Nabeshima with works that use the unique white makeup techniques of "Snowflake Sumihajiki" and "Platinum Color" that are based on the family's traditional "Iro Nabeshima" technique but also developed the "Sumihajiki" technique. This work fully conveys the charm of Imaemon 14, using techniques such as "Snowflake Sumihajiki" and "Platinum Color" that are synonymous with the artist.
