René Lalique (1860-1945) is one of the most successful artists and designers in history. He worked in a wide range of fields, including jewelry design, wallpaper, textile and commercial packaging, but he was most famous for his glasswork. Around 1905, Lalique began producing his own glass works commercially, and continued to do so until his death in 1945. The glass business was then passed on to his son Marc (died 1977) and then to his granddaughter Marie-Claude Lalique (died 2003).

This is a very rare and hard to come by item.
