1954- Born in Osaka. Graduated from the Graduate School of Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music. 1976: Founded the Tsuchi no Kai. 1979: Received the Encouragement Award at the Chunichi Exhibition, Shinseisaku Exhibition, and Chubu Yomiuri Branch. 1980: Received the Chukyo Television Broadcasting Award at the Chubu Yomiuri Branch. 1981: Participated in the Kobe New Sculptor's Road Grand Prize Exhibition. 1982: Won the Kansai Exhibition Award, 1st Place, All-Kansai Art Exhibition. 1986: Won no screening at the All-Kansai Art Exhibition. 1989: Won the Yomiuri Shimbun Award at the All-Kansai Art Exhibition. 1990: Won the Yomiuri Shimbun Award at the 4th Japanese Contemporary Figurative Sculpture Exhibition (Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art) / All-Kansai Art Exhibition. 1992: Won the Yomiuri Shimbun Award at the 5th Japanese Contemporary Figurative Sculpture Exhibition (Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art) / All-Kansai Art Exhibition. 1993: Invited to exhibit at the All-Kansai Art Exhibition. 1994: Won the 6th Japanese Contemporary Figurative Sculpture Exhibition (Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art). 1997: Selected for the Kurashiki Machikado Sculpture Exhibition. 2009 "Dream of the White Ball" Monument installed at the former site of Kintetsu Buffaloes Fujiidera Stadium / Urano Collection installed at Sansei Technos Logistics Center Since 1983, numerous solo exhibitions have been held.
The artist creates bronze sculptures with the theme of "children," and has continued to seek the "shape of the heart" through the pure and innocent figures of children. He has continued to create his works in the hope that those who view them will be filled with warm feelings and that hearts filled with kindness and compassion will be born .
