Masimizu Zoroku 4th Generation (1933 (Showa 8) - Present) Born in Kyoto Prefecture.

When the first generation Shimizu Tasaburo was 13 years old, he learned pottery from his uncle Wake Kametei and opened a kiln in Gojozaka. He changed his name to Zoroku and was given the character "Shin" by Myohoin Shrine, which is said to be the first time he called himself "Mashimizu Zoroku." He mainly produces matcha and sencha tea utensils using techniques such as overglaze painting, brocade, and celadon. For seals, he uses the seals "Sokanin", "Hoju", "Hyakuju", "Mashimizu Zoroku", and "Zoroku" given by Gengensai Soshitsu.

The second generation Kuroku was born as the eldest son of the first generation, and after taking over the family business, he traveled all over Japan. He also traveled to China and Korea to study celadon, Goryeo, and the Yi dynasty. After returning to Japan, he opened a kiln in Yamashina, Kyoto in 1917 and established the Shinshimizu style. At first, he used his father's 100th birthday seal, but from around the age of 25, he began using his own Kuroku seal.

The third and fourth generations of the Kuroroku clan have also closely followed the family business, specializing in techniques such as celadon, powdered porcelain, and colored painting, and producing mainly matcha tea ceremony utensils and sencha tea ceremony utensils. They are also skilled in three-dimensional expression such as Jurojin and animal figurines, and the fifth generation Kuroroku is currently active mainly in solo exhibitions, conveying traditional beauty and techniques.
